Located on Jerusalem's Mount Zion, the Diaspora Yeshiva is a residential facility for students from all over the world. Irving Backman/Acopia Harvest International generously donated a 22 sq. m. indoor vertical hydroponic farm in 2019 and StartUpRoots engaged Yeshiva students run the farm while they developed business skills and provided the community with healthy (chemical pesticide free) produce sustainably grown (95% less water, no transport). The facility closed during COVID.​
