Welcome to Beit Daniella, a recovery day center for youth struggling with mental health issues through connection to nature and animal assisted therapy. 

Beit Daniella, is a supportive recovery day center for youth who are struggling with mental health issues including eating disorders, Beit Daniella empowers youth with the vital skills to transition back into their families, schools and communities. In 2020, StartUpRoots built a greenhouse and a variety of hydroponic systems so that the students could grow sprouts,  leafy greens, herbs and microgreens. Teachers and therapists were trained to operate the systems, enabling them to provide experiential therapy to the students as they see the impact that environment and nutrients have on the plants.
