Siach Hasadeh School Project
Mateh Binyamin Regional Council's Siach Hasadeh school teaches traditional agricultural activities to over 550 students. Award-winning agronomist, Yossi Yitzhaki, who runs the program, wishes to engage the students in the sustainable methodology of hydroponic farming. Inasmuch as hydroponic farming is still in its developmental phase, Yitzhaki seeks to work with the students in research and development to optimize taste, efficiency and cost. StartUpRoots will provide expert support in hydroponic agronomy as well as culinary arts and nutrition.
In order to complete this project we are seeking to raise 100,000 nis ($27,500).
These costs will cover hydroponic equipment, instruction and course materials.
