Tamar Ariel High School, located in Netanya, serves over 1500 students a day, many of whom have socio-economic and language challenges (olim). Our multi-disciplinary curriculum, rooted in STEAM and Torah, seeks to empower students to develop 21st century skills to address highly relevant topics including health, nutrition, and sustainability through our hands-on, Torah-based authentic curriculum.
Successful application of the first hydroponic system of its kind in Israel, the Flex Farm. The students took part in every stage from the seeding to the transfer, regular maintenance and the harvest. Simultaneously they have been growing microgreen in a dedicated PAMM system.
Using the plants a platform for learning about Shmitta, Trumot and Ma'aser as well as entrepreneurship and sustainability.
